"I'll just be here waiting for Grassfur and Blackpaw if you need me" She said.

She sighed as she watched cats pass by the entrance and come in to ask where Grassfur was. There wasn't much to do so that the time went by faster.

Blackpaw looked at her and then Grassfur. He became quite as he didn't know what Grassfur was going to do or say.

When she looked into the toms eyes she saw an image of her deceased father in Blackpaw. Tears started in her eyes and she ran to her nest in the apprentices den where she got many flashbacks of her and her parents before they were kidnapped, abused, and left to die once she was born. This made the tears flow but she made no sound, not wanting to attract any attention.




( I was reading up about male cats and apparently it's very rare for a male to be calico or tortoiseshell! And if they are, they are always sterile! [Fact time with Abeo XD] )

She quickly hid her face in her paws once she saw Blackpaw, she didn't him to see her. She thought to herself. (Better to tell him now rather than later.). "Can we go for a walk? There's something I need to tell you about my family" She said suddenly, surprised she could even speak right then. "I-I umm.. mean if you want to.." She said quickly.


[By the time she speaks her head is out from her paws]

She got up to her paws slowly and began to make her way to the entrance. Once out of earshot of anyone outside of camp, Mosspaw began to tell Blackpaw about how her parents had never had the best reputation among all the clans. "So every cat abused them, until one day when some cat decided it would be"funny" to kidnap them and abuse them until they were about to die. By this time, that's when I was born. Once I was about 1 moon old is when they were taken. No cat noticed but me. One day, a moon later with no one noticing a patrol found their dead bodies on the border. They didn't even bury them. And that whole time no one noticed? No one noticed me so I was a 1-2 moon old KIT without my parents. No food or milk for 2 MOONS" She said, finishing up the story. "This is why I'm used to being alone, it's why I sometimes like being alone, and...why I-I umm...." She closed her eyes and calmed herself. "A-And also why I-I umm...also why I like you. You remind me of my father. Brave, loyal, kind."" She said, blushing with embarrassment even though it felt good to get that off her chest.

Blackpaw blink as he was surprised. " Thanks. " He said, with a smile. He tilted his head some. " Why would I forgot I met you? " He said.
